This past weekend, I ran the Disney Princess 1/2 Marathon along with 25,000 other runners. I was really excited to complete this race, and it was so much fun. Along the miles, there are characters to stop for, bands, and plenty to see. I didn't get a chance to stop for many characters, as I was worried about maintaining the 15minute mile pace and didn't want to get picked up. But I did snap a few pictures of some of the ones that were out.
Entry walkway to the dance floor, vendors, and bag check tents.
Map of the course. That overpass at mile 10 was a tough one!
Before the race start. Port-o-lets lined up. Runners everywhere!
Characters along the run. I didn't have time to wait in line, but wanted to share, these are some of the more rare characters you don't see out much.
Running through the Magic Kindgom.
Finisher medals at the end.

I really enjoyed this race, and had a great time. It was a new experience, and am proud that I completed it. Congratulations to all of you who ran as well!
